He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude and Herbert Elvin Smith, Sr.; his wife Peggie H. Smith; and his daughter Sandra K. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Judy E. Elkins (John), Joel Smith (Gina), Noel Smith and Timothy Smith (Valerie); his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Saber Smith (Trevvon), Jason Elkins (Jenna) and Bret Elkins (Jenna); and his great grandchildren, Campbelle, Dempsey and Ailen.
