He is survived by: his spouse Peggy Johnson Clapp; his children, Clifton Wayne Clapp, Joyce Clapp Foley (Linwood Keith), Janet Clapp Payne (Ervin) and Marcia Clapp Crowder; his grandchildren, Angie, Renee, Bryan, Andy, Cliff, Megan, Michelle and Jason; and his sisters, Christine Clapp Smith (Bob) and Mary Clapp Howell (Charles).
