He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melody; his daughters, Marinna Smith Dahlstrom (Alex) and Ellie Martin (Danny); his siblings, Vickie Burleson (Mike), Cheryl Smith and Allan Smith (Vicky); his niece Jenna; his father-in-law Larry Simmons; his parents, Vance Smith and Frances Smith; his grandparents, Vick, Hazel Shaw, William Arlendo and Linnie Smith; and his mother-in-law Margo Simmons.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Union Church (5929 Coble Church Rd, Liberty, NC 27298). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
