We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2021, at the age of 91, Bettie Jane Holden Layton (Liberty, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Algernon Porter Holden and Maude Edwards Holden; her husband Armp Junior Layton; and her children, Marti Wells and Dwight Layton.
She is survived by: her son Doug Layton (Susan); her grandchildren, Casie Hiester (James), Paul Wells (Emily), Amber Cox (Adam) and Alexander Layton (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Zoey Wells, Zachary Wells, Zuri Wells, Alexandra Layton, Holden Hiester and Cole Hiester.
