He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. Byerley and Dorothy Mae Everhart Byerley; his wife Kay Carpenter Byerley; and his siblings, Bruce Byerley, Judy Charles and Andrea Byerley.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Byerley, Kelly Coppley, Chris Byerley and Michael Byerley (Shannon); his grandchildren, Brandon Perrell (Berea), Matthew Perrell, Colton Coppley, Ashley Reeves (Chris) and Chloe Byerley; his great grandchildren, Ella Perrell, Holden Perrell, Amaris Thomas and Elijah Wright; his sister Erlene Crotts; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
