As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Goodwin Hilliard and Marie Kepley Hilliard; and his brother Michael Todd Hilliard. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Biesecker Hilliard; his daughter Maria Jane Hilliard; and his close friends, Tony and Pansy Frank.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hedrick's Grove Reformed United Church of Christ (5687 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27292).
