He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Bid'Meggs Leonard Sr. and Ethel Palmer Leonard; and his brothers, Pete Leonard, Danny Leonard, Rabb Leonard, Ira Leonard Jr. and Fred Max Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Jane Payne Leonard; his children, Todd Leonard of Lexington, Tammy Pace (Stephen) of Lexington and Tandra Garner (Chris) of Morehead City; his siblings, Larry Leonard (Jewel) of Lexington and Loretta Brunner of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Sage Leonard, Salem Leonard, Staley Leonard, Seth Pace (Lauren), Jordan Matthews (Nic), David Owen Garner and Merritt Garner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
