He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney Kearns Jr. and Dorothy Parker Kearns; and his brother Van Kearns. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Debra Kearns; his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Kearns, Jared Kearns, Terilyn Kearns Wood (Will) and Kirsten Kearns; and his great-nieces, Leia Kearns and Lani McGriff.
