He was predeceased by: his parents, Earlie Adams and Sallie Ann Kearns Adams; his wife Haydee Torres Adams; and his sister Nancy A. Dunn. He is survived by: his sisters, Rebecca Rivero of Winston Salem, Diane Bell (Curtis) of Kernersville and Rosa Melton (James) of Angier.
