She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Sanford Sloan and Ruth Elizabeth Hendricks Sloan; and her siblings, Pansy, Edna, Roger and George.

She is survived by: her husband James Howard King; her children, Angela Koonts (Danny), Dawn Martin (Gene), Crystal Leonard (Mark) and Bradley King (Tami); her grandchildren, Sarah (Stephen), Caitlin (Billy), Daniel (Alli), Dustin (Missy) and Joseph; her great grandchildren, Bonnie Cait and Quinn; and her sisters, Libby (Kelly), Ozelle (Ravon) and Janeth (Griff). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
