She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Jennings Ward and Vaudie Moore Ward; her husband Clyde Everette Decker; her children, Ronnie Decker and Phyllis Grubb; and her brothers, Charles Fisher Ward and Terry Ward.
She is survived by: her son Donnie Decker (Robin); her grandchildren, Matthew Decker (Christina), Julie Morrow (John) and Jennifer Ashby; and her siblings, Benny Ward (Vivian), Peggy May, Doris Everhart and Polly Nancy. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Evangelical and Reformed Church (3810 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27295). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
