Sandra Kaye Mendenhall Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 75, Sandra Kaye Mendenhall of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Kaye Mendenhall to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lentz Hinson and Mary Emma Mills Hinson; and her granddaughter Lauren Hope. She is survived by: her husband David Wayne Mendenhall; her sons, Derrick Gray Mendenhall (Angie) and Rev. Jason "Ryan" Mendenhall (Wendy); her siblings, Rev. Harrison Lee Hinson, Coy Thomas Russell, Billie Fesperman McGuire, Marilyn Hinson Allard and Patricia Carol Russell Siegel; and her grandsons, Dalton, Luke, Ethan and Adam.

The lying in state was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Hall. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Canaan United Methodist Church (1760 Shady Grove Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
