She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Broughten Whitlow and Ellen Pruitt Whitlow; and her husband Mike. She is survived by: her son David Michael Mitcham (Kelly) of Lexington; her granddaughter Natalee; her brother Dr. Michael Whitlow; her sister-in-law Dr. Cheryl Newman Whitlow of Augusta Georgia; her nephews, Michael Broughten, John Allen and Benjamin Russell Whitlow; and her stepchildren, Gregg Mitcham, Chris Mitcham and Tanya Rogers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 W 3rd Ave, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
