With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald Barton of Lexington, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronald left this world on March 25, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Robert and Florence Barton; and his wife Susan Barton. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Hart (Joseph); his siblings, Phil Barton (Sandy) and Beth Huber (Dan); his granddaughter Ashley Hart; and his close friend Diane Hudson. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel (858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3010 US-70, Newton, NC 28658).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ronnie's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association, P.O. Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306, to aid in the fight that affected his courageous spirit.
