He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Howie and Minnie Cora Barbee. He is survived by: his children, Jennette Howie of Lexington, NC and Robert Lee Howie Jr.; and his sisters, Lily Winecoff of Concord and Rachel Plowder of Kannpolis. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
