He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Webber Watson, Sr. and Ann Deaton Watson; his former wife Lois Wall Watson; his wife Dollie Horne Watson; and his son Ray Watson.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Watson (Sandy) of Alabama, Mike Watson (Nell) of High Point and Todd Watson (Kim) of Archdale; and his sister Betty Ann Litzie of California. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
