He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stokes Kimbrell and Hilda Broach Phelps Kimbrell; his wife Bonnie Elizabeth Walser Kimbrell; and his brothers, Darell and Wilbur.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne (Gail) of Lexington, Michael (Amanda) of Clemmons and Shane (Karyn) of Iowa; his brother Bill (Patty) of Lexington; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Walser of Lexington, Steve Walser (Dale) of Lexington, Randy Walser (Mary Ann) of Florida, Nell and Helen; his grandsons, Wesley (Melinda) and Zachary (Lindsay); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Lillian, Reid Kimbrell and Clint Kimbrell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Tyro United Methodist Church (4484 S Nc Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295).
