With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Neal Blomquist in Lexington, North Carolina, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Blomquist and Natalie Neal Blomquist. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Rogers Blomquist; his daughters, Amanda Blomquist Jones (Mason) and Elizabeth Blomquist Lofgren (Bobby); his grandson George Jones; his sister Shelley Johns (Russ); his nephews, Matthew Johns (Lacie) and Benjamin Johns; his mother-in-law Elvalee Rogers; his siblings-in-law, Kevin Rogers (Deb) and Renee Griffin (Tom); his niece Kristy Thompson; his great-niece Khloe Collins; his aunt Annie Hood (James); his cousins, Laurie Grenadier, Jordan Murphy (Mike), Jacob Hallmark and Katherine Williams; and his caregiver Gloria.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Highland United Methodist Church (1901 Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paul Blomquist Memorial fund benefiting the Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM), or to George Blomquist, Jr. Scholarship at the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University.
