She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Roy Latham and Nora Bernice Lanier Latham; and her husband Charles Don Koontz. She is survived by: her children, Tony Eugene Koontz (Angie), Patty K. Fulton (Rodney) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Tonya Koontz Kelsey (Michael) of Tecumseh, Jason Matthew Koontz (Elainia) of Lexington, Ericka Koontz Milner (Chad) of Lexington, Andrew Jackson Berrier of Lexington, Brittany Lookabill Skeen (Jeffrey) of Lexington, Tristen of Lexington and Abigail Fulton of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Joshua Kelsey (Jana), Caleb Kelsey (Abby), Anna Swafford (Luke), Chloe Pearman (Seth), Olivia F. Koontz, Nora Grace Koontz, Hannah Joy Koontz, Rachael C. Edmonds (Johnathan), Nicholas Gray Carter, Riley Eugene Koontz, Carsen Faith Milner, Tyler Jackson Berrier, Noah Franklin James, Jonah Austin Skeen and Jakob Lane Skeen; her great great grandchildren, Josie Mae Edmonds and Harper Jean Edmonds; and her brother Buddy L. Latham (Elaine).
