It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Nichols (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Bowen Nichols; his brothers, Thurman Nichols and Jimmy Nichols; and his brother-in-law Steve Koontz. He is survived by: his children, Luther E. Nichols III of Lexington and Lori Nichols Everhart (Kevin Merritt) of Lexington; his son-in-law Thomas Scott Everhart of Lexington; his siblings, Luther Wayne Nichols (Wanda) of Salisbury, Billy Nichols of Lexington, Harriett Robbins (Scotty) of Winston Salem and Betty Koontz of Lexington; his sister-in-law Maxine Nichols; his grandchildren, Courtney Everhart Berrier (Branson), Sierra Everhart, Hailey Everhart, Ethan Everhart and Sherina Smith; and his great grandchild Molly Berrier.
