She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Lee Carter, Sr. and Zula Everhart Carter; her husband Thomas Wood Everhart; her son Thomas Allen Everhart; her siblings, Lester Carter, Jr., Alvin Thomason, Pearlie Mae Lee and Maxine Stokes; her great grandchild Benjamin Walker; her daughters, Karen Walker (Jerry) of Clemmons and Joyce Myers (Gary) of Midway; her daughter-in-law Libby Everhart of Midway; her sister-in-law Mae Bailey; and her grandchildren, Leigh Hyatt, Dr. Robert Walker, Jason Everhart, Misty Norris, Beth Hair and Josh Myers. She was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
