She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Mathis Byerly Sr. and Doris Mae Duffy Byerly; her daughter Brenda Wilkey; her stepdaughters, Joyce Amaya and Angie Combs; and her brother Jack Byerly Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Ayars (Brian) of Lexington; and her sisters, Maggie Nalley of Lexington, Shirley Scates of Lexington and Patricia Waller of Lexington. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292).
