With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Barney Boone of Lexington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank Barney and Grace Allen Barney; her husband Willie Henry Boone Jr.; her siblings, Melvin Barney, Marie Beck, Lucille Lampley and Elsie Myers; and her daughter-in-law Sherry Boone.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Scott Boone and Tina Byrd; her grandchildren, Lauren Boone Johnson, Matthew Boone and Douglas Rish; her brother George Barney; and her great grandchildren, Gracie, Kamden and Kemper.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292).
