He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawton Powers and Laura Powers; his wife Jo Anna Irons Powers; and his son Scott Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Sheryl Gillette and Catherine Powers; his brother Ellis Dangerfield; and his pet Marley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (407 Mountain View Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27292). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery (407 Mountain View Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27292).
