He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Tester Reid of Lexington, NC.; his children, Russell Reid (Susan) and Angie Michael (Buddy); his grandchildren, Cody Michael (Taylor), Carmen Winebarger (Garrett), Gavin Reid and Ella Reid; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Emerson and Ellison.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Davidson, NC 28036). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holloways Baptist Church (131 Briggs Rd, Lexington, NC 27292).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Davidson County or Holloways Baptist Church in memory of Jimmy.
