He is survived by: his wife Tommie Ellington Hughes; his sons, Boyd Hughes and Jeff Hughes (Kim); his brother Richard Hughes (Pam); and his grandchildren, Alicia Michael (Zach), Zac Hughes (Katie) and Taylor Bralley (Zack). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
