We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 84, Jerry Hodges of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Lee Hodges and Margaret Caroline Hodges; his wife Merle Leonard Hodges; and his son-in-law Jim Earnhardt. He is survived by: his daughter Leigh Hodges Earnhardt of Rockwell; his brothers, Mike Hodges (Chris) of Lexington and Steve Hodges (Vikki) of Lexington; his nephews, Chad Hodges of Lexington and Bryan Hodges (Rachele) of Lexington; his sister-in-law Rhonwen Leonard Newton of Columbia, S. C.; his nieces, Blair Jones (Gordon) of Clinton, N. Y. and Allison Satchell of Easton; and his nephew Dr. Willoughby Brockenbrough Newton III (Rhett) of Winston-Salem.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Reformed United Church of Christ (103 E Center St, Lexington, NC 27292).
