She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jacob Thomas and Betty Trantham Hedrick; her husband John Glen Buchanan; her daughters, Mary Buchanan of Virginia Beach and Dr. Helen Buchanan Peters (Jonathan) of Durham; her sister Stephanie Potter (Bob); and her cousin Jane Kearns.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Macedonia United Methodist Church (10890 NC-8, Lexington, NC 27292).
