She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Johnson and Addie Logan Johnson; her brothers, William Johnson, Joseph Johnson and Frederick Johnson; her grandson Randy Loper; and her son-in-law George Loper.
She is survived by: her husband Howard M. Ayars; her children, Stephen Ayars (Theresa) of Springfield, OH, Brian Ayars (Becky) of Lexington, NC, Diana Loper of Franklin, OH, Deborah Davis (Thomas) of Lexington, NC and Beverly Cope (Daniel) of Salem, WV; and her sisters, Eleanor Farashian, Suzanne Harris (Kenneth), Carol Hendrix and Ruth Swing (George). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Community Chapel (345 Faith Chapel Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Rev. Howard Ayars c/o Deborah Davis, 345 Garland Drive, Lexington, NC.
