James Rector Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Mae Baucom Rector and James "JT" Craven; his brother-in-law Louis Sheffield; and his brother Clarence Rector. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary "Bootsie" Rector and Brinnie Rector Sheffield of Lexington, NC; his uncle Edward Baucom of Palm Coast; his nephews, Roy Rector of Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Barton (Anita) of High Point, NC, Jose Davis (Celena) of Boiling Springs, SC, Jermaine Cardwell of Warm Springs, VA and Brian Cardwell of Staunton, VA; his niece Tina Wyatt (Thomas) of Salisbury, NC; and also Elaine Rector of Winston-Salem, NC. He is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins, other family and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Homegoing Service Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the South Lexington City Cemetery.
