He is survived by: his wife Lauren Banks Blackwelder; his sons, Brent Blackwelder (Michelle), Chad Blackwelder (Lindsey) and Zachary Cody (Lily); his brother Richard Blackwelder (Doris); his grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Chance, Brantley, Georgia, Cora and Jensen; and his pet Izzy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rich Fork Church (3993 Old US Hwy 29, Thomasville, NC 27360).
