Though Gil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Brack Gilbert Martin; and his brothers, Timothy Martin and Jimmy Wayne Martin. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Sullivan Martin of Denton; his wife Alice Endozo Martin; his pet Roscoe; and his cousins, Johnny, Ricky, Donna, Neil and Steve.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Briggs Funeral Home (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239).
