He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Melton and Irene Pope Melton. He is survived by: his wife Doris Leonard Melton; and his children, Dusty Timothy Leonard, Gene Melton, Travis Shane Melton, Amanda Coleman and Crystal Gail Leonard. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Reflection Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292).
