She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Edward Williams and Rosa Viola Potts Williams; her husband Howard Elbert Wood; her children, David Wayne Williams Hill and Rosa Williamson Hill; her stepsons, David Lee Wood, Adrian Wood and Mark Wood; and her siblings, James Edward Williams, John Luther Williams, Arge Lee Williams, Brenda Mae Ross and Mamie Katheryn Bean.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Viola Hill Johnson (Curtis David); her stepdaughters, Vickie Lynn Wood, Rebecca Gurlack, Lindsay Ray Williams (Delores) and Margaret Ann Williams; her grandchildren, Jonathan Hill, Chris, Derek O. Troutman and Bryan Brown; and her great grandchild Gavin B. Troutman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Lexington City Cemetery (400 E 3rd St, Lexington, NC 27292).
