It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Estelle Hobbs Rummage of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Grey Hobbs and Veigh Nola Leonard Hobbs; her husband Charles Junior Rummage; and her siblings, Daniel, Marie and Audrey.
She is survived by: her children, Len Rummage of Virginia and Cathy Martin (Randy) of Linwood; her brother Grey Hobbs Jr. (Glenda); her granddaughters, Hannah Grubb (Gray) and Lindsay Kimbrell (Bradley); and her great grandchildren, Harper, Emma, Macy, Lily and Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reeds Baptist Church (180 Reeds Baptist Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292, in Estelle and Charles' honor.
