She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Donald and Carolyn Head Walker; her brothers, Danny and Darrell Walker; and her nephew Brandon Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Sammy Whisenhunt; her children, Angela Ayers (Andrew) of Morristown, TN., Pennie Schultz (John) of Rutledge, TN., Dana Bullins (Ty) of Sandy Ridge and Otis Whisenhunt (Judy) of Wallburg; and her siblings, Jerry Walker (Pam) of Lexington, Barbara Whitaker of Lexington, Connie Jones (Brad) of Midway and Bonnie Keomanideth (Michael) of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jc Green & Sons Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the J. C. Green Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Parklawn Memorial Park.
