We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 56, Donald Scott Surratt of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joe Surratt; his stepfather Joseph Williamson; his grandparents, Euris, Lola Surratt, Lawrence and Edith Hunt; and his uncle Adrian Hunt.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret Surratt; his wife Jeanne; his brothers, Clark Surratt (Vickie) and Dennis Surratt (Tammy); his nieces and nephews, Charlie Goforth (Heather), Nikki Everhart (Lee), Brent Shipton, Josh Shipton (Megan), Makayla Shipton, Colby Surratt, Wesley Miller and Zane Miller; his great-nephews, Jackson Shipton and David Draughon; his great-niece Victoria Draughon; and his pet Dingo.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel (858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
