Dermont Odell Morris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dermont Odell Morris of Lexington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Dermont Odell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dermont Odell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Kiser and Ella Mae Leonard Morris; and his brother Wayne Morris (Shelia). He is survived by: his brother Joe Morris (Helen); and his nieces and nephews, Audrey Morris, Michael Morris (Lea), Jeff Morris and Jennifer Perrell (Aaron).
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dermont's.
The family respectfully requests no flowers.
