We bid farewell to Debra Hearst (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 12, 2025 at the age of 62. Debra touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloise Hairston and June Hairston; and her siblings, William D. Hearst and Sarah H. Roberts. She is survived by: her son Melvin Neely II (Brittany) of Winston-Salem; her grandson Melvin Neely III; her siblings, John T. Hearst, Jeffery Hairston and Pamula Leak; and her aunts, Virginia Hairston and Ernestine Hairston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the South Lexington City Cemetery.
