We bid farewell to Curtis McCright (Lexington, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Curtis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lynn and Alice Ruth Smith Cross; his wife Elder Barbara McCright; and his brothers, Frank Lynn Jr. and Michael Lynn.
He is survived by: his children, Tongla L. Burns (Larry), Candace M. James (Mel), Brandi N. McCright (Marcus) and James K. Miller; his sisters, Wanda Neely and Sharon Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Joann Smith-Thomas (John), Cynthia Adams, Loretta Vaughters, James Baldwin (Carlon), Everett Baldwin (Andrea) and Tony Baldwin (Pamela). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freedom Tabernacle Family Worship Center (1211 Winston Rd, Lexington, NC 27295). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
