He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton Bowman and Mattie Bowman; his mother-in-law Georgia Hartness; his brothers, Charles Bowman (Hoss) and Wayne Bowman (Skip); and his stepson Rick Estrada.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn of Lexington; his children, Raymond Bowman (Becca) of Eagle River, AK, Barbara Bowman of Fayetteville, NC, Elaine Bartee (Robbie) of Dry Fork, VA and Carmela Warfield (Jason) of Anchorage, AK; and his stepchildren, Armando Jimenez (Keely) of Tyro, NC, Marta Parker of Salisbury, NC and Teal Cardon (Jerome) of DeSoto, TX. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and so many friends.
