He is survived by: his wife Christy Wright Canady; his siblings, William "Chuck" Canady, Carla Ingold (Ronnie) and Darla Sweeny; and his close friends, Jeff Nance, Greg Finney, Zach Shipwash and Tony.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Journey Church of God of Prophecy (1000 E Center St Ext, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
