He is survived by: his wife Nelda Howard Bennett; his children, Todd Bennett of Lexington, Dana Bennett of Lexington and Gina Bennett of Florida; and his grandchildren, Hugh Ellis Bennett and Bain Miller Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Luke's Lutheran Church (4299 S North Carolina Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
