It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Johnson of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Wheelwright, Kentucky, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Talt Johnson and Arnie Hall Johnson; his wife Janice Sue Dusina Johnson; and his daughter Tracey Grasser. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Hunt (Rusty) of La Grange and Kandi Tackett (Collie) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Joshua, Whitney, Jonathan, Jotham, Jana and Madison; and his siblings, Donald Johnson of Kentucky, Ronnie Johnson of Kentucky, Roger Johnson of Kentucky and Wilma McKay of Concord.
