He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ray Joyner and Eunice Doub Joyner. He is survived by: his wife Sheree Shelton Joyner; his daughters, Jamie Schmitt (Brian) and Dr. Jordan Ma (Chiu); his grandchildren, Barrett Robert Schmitt, Beckett Ray Schmitt and CJ Ray Ma; and his siblings, Wanda Alexander (Archie), Frances Gough (Tony), Dorcas Garretson (Walter), Rhonda Joyner, Karen Frey (Allen) and Eugene Joyner (Susan). He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
