She was predeceased by: her mother Elsie Kirby Waddell; and her nephew Fred Hill. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Duncan of Charlotte; her sister Nellie Lee Waddell Hill of Dobson; her nieces, Nancy Hill of Dobson and Cynthia Hensley (Roger) of Elkin; her great-nephew Daniel Hensley of Roaring River; her great-niece Christina Hensley of Atlanta; and also, Lizzy and Ayla Hensley of Roaring River.
