It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelton Barefoot (Lewisville, North Carolina), born in Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Floyd and Iva Jane Weaver Barefoot; and his sisters, Ernestine Johnson, Evadine Tart and Ruth Allen.
He is survived by: his sister Jeannette Tripp; his wife Elizabeth; his son Harvey Craig of Oak Ridge, NC; his granddaughter Raven Nicole; and his great grandchild Sofie Rhys Lipscomb.
