It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Frizzell Barker (Lewisville, North Carolina), born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Frizzell and Ethel Buchanan Frizzell; her husband Ambrose "AJ" Barker; and her grandson Andrew Joby Barker Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Snow (Scott) and Michelle Barker; her stepsons, Joby Barker (Kim) and Terry Vance (Ailyn); her grandchildren, Cody Snow (Anna), Bethanie Snow, Joshua Barker, Jared Barker, Jon Barker and Kyra Vance; her great grandchild Emmeline Snow; and her sisters, Mae Nicholson (Rosie) and Nina Green. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
