He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Vaden and Edna Reavis Dellinger; his wife Barbara Souther Dellinger; his children, Brad Dellinger (Suzanne) and Carol Blankenship (Erik); his grandchildren, Taylor Dellinger, Ruby Dellinger, Ben Blankenship and Hank Blankenship; his sister Nancy Hoover (Ralph "Spooky"); his niece Kelly Gunzenhauser; and his nephew David Hoover.
In memory of all the cats that Mr. Dellinger had cared for, the family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Humane Society of Davie County, PO Box 937, Mocksville, NC 27028.
