She was predeceased by: her father William Samuel Sneed; her husband Rev. Carl "Bud" Owen; her sisters, Eleanor Sneed and Joyce Lindley Hudson; and her mother Sarah of New Mexico.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Owen (Teresa) of Winston-Salem, NC and Amy Tilson (Robert) of Matthews, NC; her grandsons, Chris Owen (Catie) of Winston-Salem, NC, Nick Owen (Jessy) of Texas and Matt Tilson of Charlotte, NC.; her great grandchild Addy Owen; her sister Beverly Smith (Mike) of Pfafftown, NC; her brother-in-law Gary Hudson of Clemmons, NC; her niece April Williamson (Scott) of Pfafftown, NC; her uncle Bob Messick (Hilda) of Winston-Salem, NC; her cousin Kaye Hill of Walnut Cove, NC; and her friend Sue Walker of Clemmons, NC..
